The final trailer for Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse arrives with a tease of a known cameo from a franchise regular. Apart from that, the trailer is appeals to the mainstream audience with a faster pace with a partition of epic and rock and roll music. There is plenty of new footage and one particular story points that might be considered a spoiler. Overall, the trailer is good in a sense it is not as dark or as grim as the first two. The fun nature of trailer does not overtake the high stakes of the actual film itself.
One major concern, or inconsistency throughout the trailers is the voice of Oscar Isaac’s Apocalypse. In the teaser, he sounded very “British” despite the character being Egyptian. There was some apparent ADR work done in the full trailer, where he had more bass and prominence to his voice. In the final trailer, he sounds the exact same as he did in the teaser. There is one full month until the actual release of the film. It will be interesting to see what how “Mutant Prime” will sound when he and the X-Men square off on May 27, 2016.
